Ballet hispanico
Each five-day session immerses campers in the culture of a different Latino country (past picks included Brazil, the Dominican Republic and Mexico). Kids take related classes in creative movement, costume and mask making, Latin rhythms, drumming and storytelling. HOLA! A PLAYGROUP IN SPANISH
This bilingual program offers full and half day Spanish immersion classes, including Yoga en Español, Exploring Cultures, music, art, story time, and plenty of outdoor play with sand, water and toys. Both native and non-native speakers are invited to aprender español! Kids Korner, 247 W 24th St between Seventh and Eighth Aves (917-648-5006, holaplaygroup.com). MOXIE SUMMER MINI-CAMP
The popular Brooklyn Heights eatery welcomes its littlest fans for arts-and-crafts, music and cooking classes. Mornings begin in the kitchen or with a group song-play session, depending on the day of the week. Following a quick snack break, campers stretch their imaginations with art projects such as puppet making, theater games and storytime. 81 Atlantic Ave at Hicks St (718-923-9710, themoxiespot.com). Camp runs Jun 30–Aug 6, Tue–Thu 9:30–11:30am. One day a week $40, two days $70, three days $105. Ages 1 1/2 to 4. 

new town Day camp
Little ones enjoy a rooftop playground, run through the sprinklers (also on the roof), learn about science and get messy with art projects. A few times each week, they can doggy-paddle in the Y’s heated indoor pool. POPPYSEED PRE-NURSERY SUMMER CAMP
Maybe your babe’s not ready to spend a day alone—or maybe you’re not ready to leave him. In either case, you two are well suited to this camp. A parent is in fact required to stay with his child as counselors engage the group in carefree activities like singing, dancing, storytime, finger painting, collage-making, sculpting and field trips to local attractions (such as a bakery, the park or a fire house). 424 West End Ave between 80th and 81st Sts (212-877-7614). The Riverdale Presbyterian Church Nursery School Summer Camp
This nonsectarian Riverdale preschool is hosting an eclectic camp that focuses on arts and sciences. Campers will delve into dramatic and creative arts; older participants will also conduct experiments, engage in water play and take trips to nearby Wave Hill. 4765 Henry Hudson Pkwy near Alderbrook Rd, Riverdale, Bronx (718-548-8260, rpcns.com). Camp runs Jun 29–Jul 31, Mon–Fri 9am–1pm. Summer Friends: WeE are three
If your three-year-old is looking for playmates his own age, consider this camp. Counselors (there is one for every four campers) lead open playtime, group games, yoga, creative movement, art, music and drama, and encourage little ones to make friends. Activities typically revolve around a theme, such as ecology, animals or sea life. Friends Seminary, 222 E 16th St between Rutherford Pl and Third Ave (212-979-5035, friendsseminary.org). Camp runs Jun 16–Aug 1, Mon–Fri 9am–noon. Extended day until 3pm available for additional fee. One-week session $525. Age 3 (campers must turn 3 by Jun 1).

SUPER SOCCER STARS
Little ones don’t just run up and down a field chasing after balls. Divided into groups of two- and three-year-olds, and four- and five-year-olds, they learn basic skills from accomplished, college-level soccer players. Because few preschoolers can keep their attention on one subject for long, an hour of playing the beautiful game is followed by an hour of arts and crafts. Temple Israel June Camp
Counselors at this camp escort four- and five-year-olds on excursions to Central Park every week. Other perks are the weekly “specialists” who visit from places like Art Farm and Mad Science. Young one get to do arts and crafts, cook, and have picnics.  All kids participate in a weekly Shabbat celebration. Early Childhood Learning Center at Temple Israel, 112 E 75th St between Park and Lexington Aves (646-292-9489, templeisraelnyc.org). Camp runs Jun 1–26; hours depend on camper’s age. One-week session $420–$600. Ages 2 to 5.

trevor Day school
Teachers from Trevor Day School guide children through arts and crafts, phys ed, drama, movement, music and sing-alongs. Campers also get to play on the school’s rooftop playground—equipped with kiddie pools for summer—and in Central Park. 11 E 89th St between Fifth and Madison Aves (212-426-3300, trevor.org).
