Gerri’s Ice Cream
Kids love Gerri’s fruity picks like Grape Nut (not of the Post cereal variety), Pineapple and Coconut. We’re iffy about the store’s appearance. The proliferation of dust on the counter makes it seem as though no one has cleane there since 1955. Standout flavor The Rum Raisin is delicious, although parents should be aware, even small scoops are extremely generous. 3974 White Plains Rd at 225th St (718-652-8095).
