Kids love the old-timey vibe at this 70-year-old Shaolin ice cream shop. Offerings, ranging from basic Vanilla to the more interesting Maple Walnut, are all homemade. Make sure to ask about monthly specials. Standout flavor The gal behind the counter suggested we try S’mores and boy, were we glad we did. The just-right combination of chocolate, marshmallows and graham crackers brought back memories of childhood campfires. 7347 Amboy Rd between Brighton St and Yetman Ave (718-605-9335).
