Transformers Animated: Transform and Roll Out

The Saturday morning cartoon-turned-movie is released June 17.

Shifty characters Before their live-action appearance in the 2007 summer hit, the Transformers were a Saturday morning cartoon staple. On Tue 17, the robots-in-disguise return to the small screen in a new DVD, Transformers Animated: Transform and Roll Out. The plot is familiar (to fans, anyway): The Autobots (good guys) and Decepticons (evildoers) battle for control of their planet, Cybertron. Also included: two bonus Transformers animated shorts. There really is more to this toon than meets the eye.
