Most kids don’t have the moolah to buy a fancy bouquet, but at various green destinations all over the city, including the Battery Conservancy, Solar One and the Liz Christy Garden, families can enjoy nature walks, gardening, eco-games and other activities. All ages.

The Brooklyn Botanic Garden celebrates the Japanese cherry-blossom season with this weekend-long festival, featuring taiko drumming, butoh dancing, traditional sword fighting, bonsai-pruning workshops, J-pop singers, a traditional kimono show, origami demonstrations and thousands of gorgeous flowers. All ages.
