FREE Mother’s Day Sing-along

The historic manse comes alive with music and munchies as Lloyd Miller performs up-tempo tunes and kids make homemade ice cream to serve to Mom. Ages 3 and up.

New York City pop-rockers Bubble have made it their mission to bring the music of the Beatles to a new generation. Today they’re channeling the Fab Four at this special Mother's Day brunch concert. All ages.

I Love My Mommy

Tots can create a beautiful flower and a handmade Mother’s Day card, then enjoy an afternoon of reading and singing songs. The best present of all, though, is those precious hours during which Mom can take a load off. Ages 5 and under.

The members of this oddball semi-acoustic trio usually sing about giant squirrels and finding Elvis in a pizza, but we imagine they’ll sneak in a few songs about motherhood at their "Great Big Fun Mother's Day Show," part of 92YTribeca's BYOK (Bring Your Own Kid) series. All ages.

Mother’s Day at Bargemusic

Spend Mother’s Day afternoon aboard this floating chamber-music hall, which today features violinist Dmitri Berlinsky, cellist Inbal Segev and pianist William Wolfram performing selections by Schubert, Mozart and Dvorak. Beverages and snacks available for a suggested donation. Ages 5 and under.

Mother’s Day Chocolate Footbath to Go
Sun May 10 at 3, 4pm. Children's Museum of Manhattan, 212 W 83rd St between Amsterdam Ave and Broadway (212-721-1234, cmom.org). Subway: 1 to 79th St. Free with museum admission: $10, seniors $7, children under 1 free.
Mother-child couples can learn how to custom-design a footbath and prepare some soothing salves with horticulturalist Gioya DeSouza-Fennelly. Ages 5 and up.

Mother's Day Cruises

Enjoy a private table, a first-class meal (complete with roses and champagne) and stunning views of the New York Harbor from aboard the Bateaux New York. Note: Jeans, shorts and sneakers are not permitted. Jackets are required for men on the dinner cruise. Ages 7 and up.

Mother’s Day Golf Special

Think you have a budding Tiger Woods in the family? Then spend Mother’s Day at the Chelsea Piers outdoor golf range, where moms receive a free $25 ball card when their child or partner purchases one at full price. Fore! Ages 6 and up.

An Open Book Series: Marvelous Moms

Head to the museum’s Everett Children's Library for vocabulary-building stories and your kids will never be at a loss for words again (for better or worse). Ages 10 and up.

R Baby Run-Walk
Sun May 10. Four-mile run at 8am, 1.3-mile health walk at 9am, kids’ races at 9:30am. Starting line in Central Park near Bandshell; enter park from Fifth Ave at 72nd St (rbabyrunwalk.org). Subway: 6 to 68th St—Hunter College. $35.
Sadly, thousands of American babies won’t make it to their first Mother’s Day. This charity run through Central Park raises critical funds to address issues surrounding infant mortality. Kids can do their part by participating in a one- or two-block race. All participants receive a ribbon, racing bib and a photo of themselves crossing the finish line. Kids’ races: ages 2 and up.

Singer-songwriter Rebecca Frezza and her eight-piece band, Big Truck, perform a blend of infectious but family-friendly pop and rock, perfect for mommy-kiddie dances. All ages.

Swing-Along Broadway

Don’t have the time (or patience) for a three-hour matinee? At the Regina Opera, soloists perform classic and contemporary Broadway show tunes. Ages 6 and up.
