Pick your own apples and pumpkins in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut
Summer is done, but that doesn’t mean family outings are over. September marks the start of apple-picking season in the mid-Atlantic area, when dozens of orchards open to the public. We’ve rounded up our favorite family-friendly farms, where kids can pick everything from Fuji to Macintosh, as well as pumpkins and other produce.
