Description
The Arts Effect NYC, an arts development organization, hosts this event alongside The View’s Sherri Shepherd, offering an afternoon of free acting, writing, and blogging workshops for tween girls. Broadway producers, directors and actors will work with participants in an effort to keep young NYC girls interested and involved in the arts. A performance of the play “Keep Your Eyes Open” follows the classes, along with a “Girl Power”-themed party. Girls 9 to 13. Reservations required. Visit website to RSVP.
